A Discipleship Retreat for Young Believers
In the spirit of these words we offer this discipleship training opportunity to young people who are committed followers of Jesus and desire to mature in the Grace and in the Knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will not all be at the same place in our walk, but all have a fervent desire to “walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
PRACTICAL FEATURES:
Facilities will provide lodging and meals on site in a camp atmosphere and also a place to assemble for teaching. Daily routine will include: Intense topical teaching; penetrating accountability through small group prayer and sharing times; singing classes; occasion to practice evangelism and/or service in the surrounding area. Seasoned men of God will be asked to teach on a given topic in a series of messages for understanding salvation, practical living, and godly values. An evening preaching session will be to call all present to personal revival.
Guidelines:
Students may not leave the premises without permission.
Students will be expected to attend all sessions.
Students are expected to behave and dress with modesty and respect.
We ask that the young women wear modest dresses and the young men wear button-down shirts.
We ask that the young women wear their hair up with a covering, and that both men and women refrain from the wearing of jewelry.
